My Happily Ever After

Why do fairytales end the story when the young couple gets married? The rest of their story is told in six words" and they lived happily ever after". I met the man, fell in love with the man, lived with the man, bore his daughter, married him and now we are living our happily ever after. This blog is going to give you a peek into my happily ever after and all the joys, triumphs and tribulations that includes.

Since we wed several years ago we've had another child. I am now a mother of two and I'm in my late 20's. I love my husband and kids with a love so strong it scares me. The title of this blog is Rantings of a Work Wife because despite the intense love I have for my family I need to vent to keep my sanity. I call myself a Work Wife because that is what I do from sun up until after sun down. I work to get the kids, clean fed and dressed. I work for my boss in my job outside of the home, I work to keep up with the laundry, the cleaning, doctor's appointments, and the social calender. I work to stay attractive, I work to keep my sex life interesting. I work to support my man. I work all day, everyday. It's my hope that both of us are working towards our happily ever after.
